Carly & James : Engaged

April 18, 2014  •  Leave a Comment
Last week I meandered my way to Skipton to meet Carly and James who are tying the knot later on this year. We went for an explore of Bolton Abbey and narrowly dodged getting rained on - that smug feeling when you're warm and dry in the car is the best! Carly chose to visit Bolton Abbey because her grandparents loved it and rightly so - thi...

The Spice of Life

April 09, 2014  •  Leave a Comment
Continuing in the vein of updating everything I decided to share these snippets. They're a glimpse into what I do when I'm not wedding-ing. Just the very slightest of images to hint at the job I was on - none of which have been released/published yet so I can't say or show too much but enough to get my mind racing. I love the variety of what I do;...

Busy Bee

Spurred on by this gloriously colourful blog post by Emma Case I thought I'd better update everyone on my whereabouts and reassure people that I've not fallen off the edge of the earth. In fact the very opposite. I've shot approximately sixty million times in the past few weeks and in all manner of ways. Oh I've seen some things. I've been working...

I believe in hiding notes in a packed lunch to be discovered later. I believe in that look across a room at one another and hearing a world of cliches in your...

Emma & James : Married

February 06, 2014  •  1 Comment
Dress = £47. Ceremony = £49. Flowers = £25 + £5 tip. The registrar couldn't pronounce James' surname to save his life. Not once did he say it right. We were supposed to catch the Thames Clipper to the restaurant but the barriers were closed due to flooding so we all piled on the train instead. Regardless of all the 'disasters' I've never laughed...

Jody & Forest: Married

February 04, 2014  •  Leave a Comment
Back in November I visited these two at their home in Anglesey and it was WET. Their wedding, which follows in this post was a very different matter altogether (thankfully) and the sun shone all day. Jody and Forest aka Mark, married at The Rutland Arms in Bakewell, Derbyshire. I love Jody's inability to disguise her excitement and the way she scr...
